This conference is designed for medical & health professionals & researchers. The conference is also open for the general public to register. Adults only.

  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) Registration  $440 (9-22-17 thru 9-24-17@ door)*
  • Non CME (Regular Registration) Registration           $270 (9-22-17 thru 9-24-17@ door)*
  • Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Registration    $375 (9-22-17 thru 9-24-17@ door)*

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
This activity has been approved for 13.76 CNE hours.

►At the event on Saturday & Sunday, there is a CASH or CHECK ONLY policy when registering “at the door,” if there is space. There is no one day registration category, full registration fee must be paid.

► No phone or fax registrations accepted

► CANCELLATION:

Registration is NON-REFUNDABLE if cancelled after 11:59pm 8-5-17.  Written notice of cancellation must be received by LDA by that time for refund.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  

If written cancellation is received before 11:59PM  8-5-17, 80% of the registration price will be refunded.

► AVAILABILITY: Registration subject to space availability at the time of receipt by LDA of completed registration. NO registrations accepted without payment at time of receipt.
At the door registration is limited by space (check website day of conference to see if available, if so you must bring a check/cash to door).

The Lyme Disease Association, Inc. (LDA) is offering scholarships to the conference to eligible medical students, residents, post-doctoral candidates, fellows, veterinarians with equivalent status to the above, and nurse practitioner candidates.

Poster Presentation Information

Conference poster submissions: please email the copy to [email protected] by July 1, 2017 for review and determination of acceptance. All decisions by the review committee are final. Poster presenters must be registered conference attendees.

Target Audience: The target population is physicians from all specialties, nurses, psychologists, scientists, public health, other health related professionals. It is open to the public & Lyme disease educators usually attend. Geographic area is nationwide, no special background required, although those whose practices contain high proportion of Lyme patients and those whose research concentrate on Borrelia burgdorferi will receive most benefit.

Learning Objectives: Practitioner should be better able to describe the role of inflammation and autoimmunity in persistent symptoms related to Lyme disease. Practitioner should be better informed about new diagnostic advances. Practitioner should become more knowledgeable about antibiotic treatments for patients with neurologic Lyme disease. Awareness that there are a wide array of new strategies to prevent tick-borne infections. Awareness of how Lyme disease infection can affect cardiac function.
